Mavent Inc., a provider of automated regulatory compliance solutions for the mortgage industry, said Wednesday that it had appointed Lauren Ingersoll to the role of senior vice president, Client Development Counsel. In her new position, Ingersoll will continue to develop and maintain client and third-party relationships through training and product support, the firm said in a press release. She will also work to resolve issues and monitor any developing needs concerning mortgage compliance, while overseeing all staff training. “For some time now, Lauren has had responsibility for fostering client relationships and ensuring an excellent standard of training and support,” said Louis Pizante, CEO of Mavent, who characterized the promotion as more of a recognition for a job well done than a change in job responsibilities. Ingersoll has held legal positions as the court attorney for the Pohnpei Supreme Court, litigation attorney for Birnberg & Associates, and she has clerked for the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency.
