His leadership has been instrumental in reshaping product offerings and supporting organic growth with institutional clients, while also spearheading expansion efforts with new counterparties. Over the past 15 years, his ability to navigate market conditions and economic shifts has been crucial to Newrez’s continued success.

Since entering the company through its management training program in 2011, Muldowney has gained extensive experience across document administration, escrow, portfolio and transaction management. Now vice president of Business Development, he is responsible for expanding Newrez’s clientele and service offerings. His leadership was pivotal in the seamless integration of dozens of new clients through the SLS acquisition, where he built client-driven infrastructure, implemented reporting systems and ensured compliance with contractual requirements — all while improving overall performance. His strategic vision has also helped develop solutions for homeowners by expanding loss mitigation options, initiating proactive outreach for potential defaults and optimizing servicing constructs to benefit both clients and homeowners.
