Fully immersing herself in the mission to educate lenders and stakeholders on the benefits of digital mortgage workflows, she has helped hundreds of lenders transition toward 100% paperless originations and closings. Her expertise and solution-oriented approach have significantly increased efficiency, reduced costs and improved borrower experiences across the industry.
Sommerville’s consultative and hands-on strategy has been instrumental in helping lenders embrace digital mortgage technology. Understanding that some organizations require additional education and guidance, she has developed a white-glove approach to implementation, ensuring a smooth and confident transition to paperless processes. Under her leadership, DocMagic has facilitated over 850 million eSignatures and more than 3 million eClosings, with eNote adoption increasing by 21% in 2024. She also played a key role in launching DocMagic’s eNotary onboarding program, training hundreds of notaries to perform remote online notarizations, further streamlining the closing process.
Her outstanding contributions recently earned her a promotion to director of Sales, where she now leads DocMagic’s sales efforts, driving the company’s growth and expanding digital mortgage adoption. A passionate mentor and advocate for women in lending, she actively participates in leadership programs and mentors her team to help them advance. What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
When attitude determines altitude, there is no glass ceiling. I’m enthusiastically inspired to continue learning how to best serve our industry. By always having a positive attitude, I’ve been able to successfully balance my tenacious appetite for embracing challenges and hard work.
