Two years later, the results speak for themselves: More than 858,000 homeowners with Freddie Mac-backed loans have received forbearance since the beginning of 2020, and approximately 791,000 of these loans have exited forbearance, including 330,000 through reinstatement or payoff and 374,000 through payment deferral.
