First American Launches RE Information Technology Company; Move Comes After $10M CDI Settlement
Jan 29, 2007In a move that may have been predicated by its recent settlement agreement with the California Department of Insurance, the First American Corporation announced Monday that it has launched MarketLinx, a new company that will address the full range of information technology needs for residential real estate professionals. The new company will combine First American MLS Solutions, Inc., Offutt Systems, Sonic Eagle, Inc. and Lucero Research Corporation to deliver technology solutions for multiple listing services, brokers and agents. Offutt, Sonic Eagle, and Lucero were acquired by First American in the back half of 2006.
