Mortgage Rates Sit Tight
Jul 10, 2008Mortgage rates moved little this week, according to Freddie Mac [stock FRE][/stock] on Thursday morning, with the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaging 6.37 percent with an average 0.6 point for the week ended July 10, up a mere 2 basis points from last week when it averaged 6.35 percent. Last year at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 6.73 percent, Freddie said.
