Danielle Wilkie talks about the transformative impact of conscious leadership
This week on the RealTrending podcast, Tracey sits down with Danielle Wilkie, co-founder of The Helm, a modern coaching platform designed to empower women in the real estate industry. From her experience at Compass and other tech and real estate companies, Danielle has a unique perspective on the evolving trends in real estate and the role of coaching in shaping its future.
Danielle also highlights the gender gap in real estate coaching, the transformative impact of conscious leadership, and how AI is going to reshape mentorship across all industries.
Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll learn:
- Women make up over two-thirds of real estate agents, but less than a third are recognized coaches.
- Female coaches offer unique perspectives and experiences that resonate with women in the industry.
- AI is rapidly changing the landscape of coaching and real estate.
- The creator economy is emerging in real estate, with agents becoming coaches.
- Conscious leadership is essential for personal and professional growth in real estate.
- Women often face confidence gaps that hinder their coaching aspirations.
Here’s a small preview of today’s interview. The transcript below has been lightly edited for length and clarity:
Tracey Velt: I think that there are a lot of women who have a lot of a lot to offer as coaches. I think there’s something about niche coaching that is really important, and I don’t know many who are really into niche coaching. Tell me a little bit about how that plays into what you’re doing.
Danielle Wilkie: I think for a long time in real estate, it was this idea that I go to this one person and they know everything and they’re this guru and they help me forever and they’re my mentor.
I don’t think that that’s the most effective way to do things. It’s just not possible. I think there’s going to definitely being a niching down. Where am I really, really great? What do I really, really love? I wanna help somebody with that. And when that’s done, then I will help them find the next person who can help them, versus stringing them along, just so I can get a paycheck as a coach, which I think can happen.
The second thing that I think you’re going to see is the rise of the creator economy is coming for real estate. We’re already seeing it. Over the next five years, I think any and all real estate agents will be coaches. It’s coming.
