Michael Ketchmark and Anthony Lamacchia go toe to toe in live debate
The recent landmark decision in the Sitzer/Burnett commission lawsuit trial included multi-billion dollar penalties for NAR and several big brokerages, spawning copycat lawsuits across the country. Many real estate leaders think their profession was unfairly maligned during the trial and that the lead plaintiff’s attorney, Michael Ketchmark, weaponized misconceptions about the real estate industry to get the verdict.
On Jan. 26, HousingWire Editor in Chief Sarah Wheeler moderated a debate between Ketchmark and Anthony Lamacchia, CEO of Lamacchia Realty and an outspoken advocate for Realtors. This live virtual event was a lively debate between Ketchmark and Lamacchia, as the two executives went toe to toe on the value of the buyer’s agent, the future of real estate commissions and much more.
