Zillow, a mobile real estate information marketplace provider, has recently launched the Zillow Mortgage Marketplace iPhone App, allowing those shopping for a home to get loan quotes directly to their iPhones.
The company says its Mortgage Marketplace App combines personalized loan quotes with advanced calculators and tools to help borrowers understand how much home they can afford, what their monthly payments would be, and whether refinancing their current home makes financial sense.
Prospective buyers or those interested in refinancing their home can fill out a loan request with information about the home and their own non-personal financial details. This allows lenders to put together custom quotes; Zillow says users receive an average of 25 loan quotes per request, which can then be compared side by side. The application can also connect users directly with lenders to begin the process of getting a home loan.
