The nation’s top urban locations for retirement have a few key things in common, if NerdWallet’s list of Best Urban Places to Retire is any indication: affordable costs of living and care, and lots of seniors. 

Florida, Tennessee, and Texas feature prominently on the recent list compiled by personal finance website NerdWallet, which based its calculations on six main factors important to seniors: Cost of living, cost of assisted care services either in a community or at home, healthcare affordability, presence of social activities, weather, and walkability. 

All the cities on the list are considered affordable or have low costs of living, according to NerdWallet.

5. Memphis, Tenn.
