Offerpad launches in two new markets

iBuyer is now available in Birmingham, Alabama and Jacksonville, Florida

In November, real estate giant Keller Williams announced it would launch its iBuyer program, which is conducted through a partnership with Offerpad, in Birmingham, Alabama early in 2020.

As it turns out, when the companies said “early,” they meant it.

Offerpad announced on Monday that it is now available in Birmingham as well as Jacksonville, Florida. According to a release from the company, Offerpad and Keller Williams are the first national iBuyers to serve Alabama homeowners and buyers.

The launch in Jacksonville also marks the third Florida market for Offerpad. Previously, the iBuyer was available in the Orlando and Tampa metros.

According to the release, Offerpad is now available to Jacksonville’s surrounding area residents, as the company serves 35 cities in the area. In total, the company is now serving homeowners in over 200 Florida cities.

Keller Offers, which also launched in Birmingham, will be available as an option to Jacksonville residents in early February.

“Jacksonville is a strong real estate market with a promising local economy,” Vaughn Stewart, Offerpad’s market director in Orlando and Jacksonville said. “Offerpad intends to meet the demand and exceed the expectations of even more Florida home buyers and sellers who are looking for the best in customized real estate options.”

The iBuyer’s launch in Birmingham included the Keller Offers program. Keller Offers and Offerpad’s partnership is also operational, in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Antonio, Tampa and Tucson.

With the new launch, Birmingham homeowners can now go directly to Offerpad to receive an offer for their home within 24 hours of the request.

“Our agents are excited and ready to meet the demands of consumers in Birmingham with our robust iBuyer offering,” Keller Offers Chief Operations Officer Gayln Ziegler said. “And, this launch is the start of the next phase in our expansion. This partnership enables us to provide an iBuyer offering to more consumers, in more market sizes, while leveraging KW’s No.1 agent count footprint within the U.S.”
