MIBOR Broker Listing Cooperative has partnered with Lundy Inc. to integrate the Broker Public Portal (BPP)’s RealAPI into Lundy’s Finding Homes platform.
Leaders said the move aims to simplify and accelerate how real estate technology vendors access data from multiple listing services (MLSs), in addition to reducing costs and development time.
“This partnership lets us do what we do best, deliver natural, intuitive voice and AI tools for agents and consumers while relying on BPP’s Search-as-a-Service RealAPI to power the MLS data layer,” Justin Lundy, founder and CEO of Lundy Inc., said in a statement.
“What Dan Troup and his team at the Broker Public Portal have built for MLSs and brokers makes it possible to move faster, smarter, and with more confidence. It’s a shift that accelerates innovation across the entire industry.”
Under the partnership, MIBOR authorizes RealAPI to feed data directly into Lundy’s Finding Homes platform.
The Broker Public Portal manages data ingestion and normalization — allowing Lundy to use a single data format that can scale to other MLS markets.
“By enabling direct access through the RealAPI, we’re cutting out inefficiencies and ensuring our members see faster adoption of high-value features from vendors like Lundy, while continuing to support other trusted distribution partners like MLS Grid that keep our marketplace running efficiently,” said Shelley Specchio, CEO of MIBOR.
The partnership outlines benefits for both vendors and MLSs:
- For vendors: faster market entry, reduced infrastructure costs, and consistent data standards across MLSs.
- For MLSs: quicker access to new tools, improved data governance, scalable standards and new revenue opportunities through usage-based billing.
RealAPI — developed by the Broker Public Portal — provides a secure, auditable distribution system that allows broker-authorized MLSs to manage data access and compliance while maintaining control over how information is used.
