loanDepot Inc. on Monday announced the hiring of Adam Saab as executive vice president of servicing.

With more than 25 years of experience in mortgage servicing and subservicing, Saab joins loanDepot’s executive leadership team to oversee the company’s servicing platform and loan portfolio.

A company press release said that Saab’s role will include oversight of daily operations, strategic initiatives and cross-functional partnerships. He will be based in loanDepot’s Plano, Texas, office.

“loanDepot has a unique set of assets, including a diversified, multi-channel originations strategy that creates a flywheel effect and results in a strategic advantage,” loanDepot founder and CEO Anthony Hsieh said in a statement.

“Adam is a great addition to our leadership team as we grow our servicing operations: he is seasoned and highly respected, he has a deep understanding of the operational complexities of the business, and his wide experience, combined with his strategic mindset and deep commitment to the customer experience, make him an ideal fit for loanDepot.”

Saab most recently worked at Cenlar, where he led early-stage default operations and oversaw a redesign of servicing processes to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

He has also held senior leadership roles at CitiMortgage, PNC Bank and LoanCare. At LoanCare, Saab managed a portfolio of 1.7 million loans across more than 75 clients. At PNC Bank, he led its mortgage and consumer operations.

“I’m particularly excited to join loanDepot with Anthony back at the helm. His vision, along with loanDepot’s commitment to innovation and customer excellence, align perfectly with my own values and what truly motivates me,” Saab said. “I’m thrilled to join the team to help drive servicing excellence as loanDepot continues to evolve and grow.”
