HW Magazine February 2020: Growing into the new decade

A new decade means so many new opportunities!

A new decade means so many new opportunities! At HousingWire, we are poised to take full advantage of the new year, expanding our coverage, our products and our staff to provide news you won’t find anywhere else about the mortgage, real estate and fintech industries.

One of the initiatives we’re most excited about is the HW+ program, designed for our superfans who want to know the “why” behind the daily news cycle. HW+ delivers premium content that drives community in the lending space. From long-form feature stores to events in local markets, HW+ not only gives the context behind the biggest trends in mortgage, real estate and fintech, it also brings people together to collaborate and find ways to build a better and stronger housing market for the future.

We’ve also expanded our events, launching the engage.talent summit this month to help mortgage companies as they battle for talent in this very competitive market. In the same vein as our engage.marketing event — now in its third year — engage.talent brings together some of the smartest and most successful leaders in the industry to share truly actionable insights. Recruiting and retaining top talent is crucial to success in the mortgage space, and we are excited to be a part of the solution.

All of this expansion highlights the most precious resource at HousingWire — our people! As you can see from the masthead, we’ve added people in every department, from sales and marketing to editorial, sponsored content and corporate. It’s an exciting time at HousingWire, and we feel privileged to continue to serve you, our audience.
