Ellie Mae recently hired Lester Liu as its new senior vice president of corporate development.
In his new role, Liu is responsible for mergers and acquisitions as well as driving integration and strategic planning.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Lester to Ellie Mae,” said Joe Tyrrell, Ellie Mae executive vice president of corporate strategy. “He brings to the role a wealth of industry experience that will help drive our corporate strategy.”
Before joining Ellie Mae, Liu worked as vice president of global corporate development, mergers and acquisitions and strategy for Visa. There, he led transaction execution and developed strategy.
Before that, Liu served as senior vice president in technology mergers and acquisitions with Lehman Brothers/ Barclays, as well as other similar positions with Merrill Lynch and Thomas Weisel Partners.
