Marketplace Home Mortgage opens third Wisconsin office

Mortgage company opens its third office in 18 months

Marketplace Home Mortgage announced the opening of an office in Madison, Wisconsin.

This office is the third office that the company opened in the past 18 months. Company lenders say timing could not be better for a new office to service the state’s capital.

“Wisconsin is heavily concentrated with smaller community banks and credit unions,” Midwest Regional Vice President Kent Olson said. “We clearly see room for a company like ours to make a big difference in Wisconsin with our high-value proposition business approach in the mortgage arena.”

Dan Greene, who oversees the Madison office, said MHM loan officers’ genuine desire to build long-term relationships with real estate agents and other partners is what sets the company apart in a competitive industry.

“Our growth pattern is a direct result of our business philosophy, which really has very little to do with the business side of things,” Greene said. “It’s about our perspective of caring that the consumer receives all the information they desire and also assisting real estate professionals enhance the customer experience.”

The company, based in Twin Cities, also recently opened offices in South Dakota and Colorado. Company leaders say they see no sign of slowing down. The new office is MHM’s latest in what Olson says will be a series of openings in the Wisconsin market. The company already employees staff in Appleton and expects a physical location to follow soon.

“This is certainly the time to add new offices because once business kicks up in the springtime, we’ll have those in-roads and relationships that will give us a competitive edge,” Olson said.
