Ellie Mae, a leading provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry, has hired Piper Neal Beveridge as vice president of government and strategic relations. In this newly created role, Beveridge will focus on growing and managing Ellie Mae's relationships with government agencies and other regulatory bodies and will be based in Washington, D.C.
Before joining Ellie Mae, Beveridge spent 13 years at Fannie Mae, where she led multiple strategic initiatives. As director of strategic initiatives, her duties included leadership of several Uniform Mortgage Data Program initiatives, including spearheading the Uniform Collateral Data Portal/Uniform Appraisal Dataset initiative, which standardized electronic appraisal data for all loans sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Previously, she served in senior strategy consulting roles including senior vice president and practice leader at Operon Partners and as an associate at Mercer Management Consulting.
Beveridge holds a bachelor's in science fromthe University of Virginia and an MBA from Georgetown University. She serves as a trustee on the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation board, which supports non-profit organizations in North Carolina.
