The pace of new home construction is surpassing the number of available workers to do the job, according to a report and infographic from Coyne College.
The college explained that in 2006, nearly two million total permits for housing were issued in the United States. But after the financial crisis, the construction of new home sales stalled.
After nine years, the industry is finally starting to get back to normal, but there is one thing blocking the progress: A shortage of skilled workers.
