ClosingCorp, a provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technology for mortgage lenders, title and settlement companies and real estate professionals, announced the addition of Dan Mugge as the company’s new senior vice president for program development.
In this role, Mugge will focus on supporting innovation through existing offerings and bringing new solutions to market, the company said in a release. Additionally, Mugge will work to extend relationships with ClosingCorp’s existing client and vendor partners and will assist in the development of the company’s strategy for the future.
“Dan is very familiar with our company; he knows our products and is aligned with our vision on how to grow this company to better serve our clients,” ClosingCorp’s CEO Brian Benson said.
“He has led various technology and development initiatives, including business transformation efforts and integrating several large joint ventures. As such, he is the right person to help take ClosingCorp into the future.”
Mugge joins ClosingCorp from CoreLogic, where he was vice president of technology solutions for the company’s technology & processing solutions division.
Earlier in his career, Mugge served as chief information officer for Rels, a settlement services joint venture and was president of the RESDirect vendor management joint venture.
“The countdown to the new loan estimate and closing disclosure requirements in August is on, and ClosingCorp is seizing the moment,” Mugge said.
“I’m very impressed with what ClosingCorp has created to date and feel like they have a tremendous asset to build upon,” Mugge added. “I’m thrilled to join Brian and the rest of the team as we deliver innovative new capabilities to help our customers reduce risk and strengthen their processes.”
