Mortgage rates are down. Do buyers care?
Aug 12, 2024From a total inventory perspective, we haven’t seen any pickup in demand in the past couple of weeks as mortgage rates fell under 7%. This is surprising, as I expected some increase in demand with cheaper money, but rising rates and seasonal timing seem to be holding buyers back.
