FHFA: American home price growth softens in first quarter of 2019
May 28, 2019U.S. home prices rose 5.1% in the first quarter from a year ago, the slowest pace in four years, according to the House Price Index from the Federal Housing Finance Agency. Although price growth is still positive, the upward pace is softening across the country, said FHFA Supervisory Economist William Doerner.
